PTC is hosting a 2 day Follett Book Fair at LGS on Wednesday and Thursday (9/26-9/27). Wednesday the book fair is from 2:45-4:30 and Thursday it runs from 4:00-7:00. Students aren’t able to buy during the day so make sure to come and check it out after school!

Our first “High Five Monday” was a success! WCHS student athletes came to LGS this morning to greet our students with high fives! Thanks Caleb, Cole, Sabrena, Tobey, Benn, Nathan, and Joy! You guys rock!
Mrs. Wentz's class held a book tasting. Students were able to “taste” new book genres, book authors, and book types to expand their reading interests. The kids were able to stay engaged in reading and get familiar with a wide variety of genres. As an extra bonus, they got to practice Read to Self and find good fit books. At the end of the tasting, they all ended with a list of books that they can't wait to read
LGS is collecting ChapStick for Operation Santa. Operation Santa sends care packages to our troops. We are collecting until September 27th!

We look forward to meeting Kindergarten parents at LGS tonight at 6:00pm. Please start in the gym for a quick message and then head to your student’s classroom to meet with their teacher! Bring their supplies with you! Students will meet their teacher on Wednesday during our Meet the Teacher Night!
