The WGSD #52 Board of Education has completed the board vacancy appointment process. We were happy to see a very high level of interest from individuals who wanted to serve our district as a board member. During the regular meeting on Monday, May 9th, the D52 Board appointed Maggie Mose as the newest member. We are excited to have Maggie as part of the board and thank her for volunteering to serve our students and the D52 community! Maggie was born and raised in Washington and graduated from WCHS in 2006. She attended Illinois State University and was a high school business teacher and girls' basketball coach for 6 years following college. She continues to reside in Washington with her husband and is a stay at home mom to her 4 kids. Her family loves Jesus, sports, and the outdoors. She has a passion for serving others and for public education and looks forward to representing our great community as a member of the District 52 school board.
