Congratulations to our Panthers of the Week!
Extended Care Program at LGS has been cancelled for today, Friday, March 31st due to the severe weather forecast.
Due to the severe weather forecast and members of our community expressing their anxiety tied to previous experiences, we have moved today's dismissal to 1:00 at WMS and 1:25 at LGS. Though we normally would not consider an early dismissal for this type of event, today is unique and the four local school districts are in agreement that this decision will best serve the needs of our community. Extended Care Program for today has been canceled.
We hope you have had the chance to watch the videos shared over the past couple weeks which highlight the different portions of LGS. Take a few minutes to check out the third and final video which focuses on the current library and APR. https://youtu.be/pHNZje1AbEQ

Kim Widmer (Head Cook for Washington GSD #52) and Nichole Boswell (LGS Lead/Cook for Lincoln Grade School and Crossing Guard for Washington GSD #52)
2022 has been filled with heroes of all kinds: nurses, grocery store clerks, truck drivers, food service workers, and first responders —just to name a few!
We know there are many heroes out there who show up, pitch in and go the extra mile every day. To help our school recognize them, we were invited to submit a nomination for the 2023 SLDDC Homegrown Hero award.
This award honors hard-working people like our Lunch Ladies, who provide food daily to our Washington GSD #52 students and help keeps them strong and healthy.
CONGRATULATIONS KIM AND NICHOLE FOR BEING AMAZING LUNCH LADIES FOR WASHINGTON GSD #52
